What you manifest is before you.

Sparked by the original quote by Garth Stein, “That which we manifest is before us; we are the creators of our own destiny. Be it through intention or ignorance, our successes and our failures have been brought on by none other than ourselves.”

I’m not sure where I first heard this quote, but “What you manifest is before you” has never left my heart and I speak it often.

I think of one of my childhood favorite actors Jim Carrey and the10 million dollar check he wrote to himself before he had the means to cash it. Carrey explained, “I wrote myself a check for $10 million for ‘acting services rendered’ and I gave myself 5 years … or 3 years maybe.” He went on to become one of the most famous actors during my younger years and easily cashed that check.

This beautiful example of manifesting your dreams into reality in such a tangible way has shaped me in so many ways. From the way we approach our Brand Identity Books (taking the in-tangible and making it tangible) to the future goals we have for Viim, our clients and our team members.

You might not recognize it, but you are manifesting your future every day. If you haven’t, take a moment and comment what you hope for yourself in 1 year! Whether it’s an emotion (happiness, joy, love, peace) or something tangible (money, a house, a new car).

SPEAK IT INTO THE UNIVERSE!! Write it down and keep this in eyes-reach and watch it come to be. 💛💛

In this episode, I have the pleasure of speaking with Viim owner, Steph Hilfer, who is a very enthusiastic, positive and energetic person. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her without a huge smile on her face.  She started Viim (Visual, Integrated, Intentional marketing) in 2018 and went full-time in her business at the end of 2020.
